UTG is a membership organisation with a strong sense of community. We are committed to maintaining and promoting a community where members can share, collaborate and work together towards the realisation of our Vision.
All UTG members are expected to adhere Code of Conduct:
- To respect the views, opinions, knowledge, experience and expertise of other members, at events, in discussions, during meetings or in interviews
- Be polite, honest and supportive of other members.
- Always strive to uphold good practice in their communications and uphold the reputation of the UTG.
- Members must not post anything on Social media or give interviews on behalf of UTG without Permission from the Secretariat.
- Members should not post anything that is unrelated to the UTG Vision, Values and Goals on the WhatsApp Platform on any of the organisation’s platforms. We don’t want the Platform to be a dumping ground for jokes, political attacks or topics that take us away from our purpose.
- Do not discriminate against, bully or harass others on the basis of: cultural and role difference, including (but not exclusively) those involving age, disability, education, ethnicity, gender, language, national origin, political beliefs, race, religion, marital or family status and socio-economic status.
- Do not knowingly act in a manner inconsistent with this code, or knowingly cause or permit others to do so.
- UTG Members are Ethical Leaders and people.
- UTG Members do not lie, cheat nor engage in any criminal activities.
- UTG Members must uphold the highest level of etiquette at all times within and outside the organisation.
- Members are law abiding citizens.
Breach of the Code of Conduct
- A complaint regarding a breach of the code of conduct may be made by anyone, whether they are a UTG member or not.
- In the first instance, please direct your complaint in writing to the UTG Secretariat info@uniteandtransformghana.org
